# Funding Account

The funding account is used throughout X-Tokenize to fund new accounts

## Prerequisites:

* [ ] A funded XRPL account

## How to change the default network:

1. Launch X-Tokenize
2. Navigate to **Settings**
3. Select "Change funding Account"
4. If a funding account exists, confirm that you would like to overwrite it
5. Select a [wallet preference](https://x-tokenize.gitbook.io/x-tokenize-documentation/wallet-preferences/multiple-wallet-preferences) and complete the steps associated with that wallet type
