# Send a payment

You can use the send a payment tool to send XRP or and IC from from one account to another

## How to send a payment:

### Prerequisites:

* [ ] [Added at least one account](https://x-tokenize.gitbook.io/x-tokenize-documentation/x-tokenize-settings/accounts) in the X-Tokenize Settings
* [ ] Knowledge of the recipient address

1. **Launch** X-Tokenize
2. **Navigate** to **Tools**
3. **Select** "Send Payment"
4. **Select** a **payment type**
5. **Enter** the **amount** you would like **to send**
6. **Enter** the **recipient address**
7. **Review** the **transaction** details
8. **Confirm/deny** the **transaction**
9. **Verify** the results

**FINISHED!**
